Activities
News
The Honors College at Boise State University provides co-curricular activities that focus on expanding multicultural and diversity boundaries, gaining professional development skills, participating in community service, fostering academic inquiry, and providing social opportunities. These programs add significant dimensions to the student’s academic program. Students involved in the honors program take part in activities that challenge and develop their critical thinking.
The idea is to gather energetic students for experiences that spice education with enjoyment. At times, these activities take students to parts of the campus and into the community that they ordinarily do not encounter. Or the activities bring students into the Honors College to do things that normally do not surface in college curricula. Often they help students to keep developing interests that have long been part of their lives but do not provide a focus for their majors: politics, sports, dance, music, volunteering, theater, and more. Yet mainly and mostly, Honors Activities are for fun!
